Pretty Vacant was established in 2004 by two former Camden Market traders to explore the intersection of music and fashion. Now based in Brighton, the brand, led by Simon and Mhorag, draws inspiration from vintage garments of the 1940s to the 1970s. Each piece is designed and upcycled in their Hove studio, ensuring unique and contemporary styles. Committed to sustainability, Pretty Vacant is certified by the Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) and partners with a family-run factory in India to produce ethical and sustainable products.
